New hospital feedback survey
As part of our ongoing commitment to evaluating the quality of the hospitals we work with, Bupa International launched a hospital feedback survey earlier this year.
This survey, designed by our Medical Team, assesses all aspects of a patient’s journey through a hospital – from their impressions on arrival, to the nursing team and the treatment they receive.
Understanding the experiences of our customers when they visit hospitals across the globe gives us a more complete picture of the quality and standard of care provided by a facility. The personal side of care provision is at the centre of our assessment process.
Having this in-depth understanding of a facility allows us to have more meaningful conversations with hospitals and suggest potential areas for improvement. This is the latest stage of the Hospital Quality Assurance Programme. This programme, developed in collaboration with Joint Commission International (JCI), assesses hospitals and clinics against a range of standards that are relelvant to the care our customers receive as patients.
