Bellevue Medical Center (BMC) is a 150 bed hospital located in QanaterZbaydeh, a valley between the regions of Mansourieh and Hazmieh, only 15 minutes away from central Beirut.

BMC is a general hospital providing a full range of medical and advanced treatment care services with a variety of departments and specialties.

BMC is affiliated to the faculty of medicine of Saint Joseph University, is a partner with Lund University, and is recognised as a WHO-collaborating centre in musculoskeletal disorders.

Our specialties
In addition to being a general hospital covering most specialties and disease treatments, Bellevue Medical Center offers distinguished services in several specialties, notably in the musculoskeletal, women’s wellness, behavioural health, and emergency treatment fields. BMC offers patients suffering from such conditions access to world-class facilities, equipment, trained staff, and standards of care that are unequalled in Lebanon and the region.

Musculoskeletal Center
One of the biggest departments in Lebanon, the musculoskeletal department at Bellevue Medical Center boasts a large patient ward with specialised rooms and the most equipped physiotherapy and rehabilitation centre in the country.

This physiotherapy area is divided into two parts, dry and wet. The dry area includes a state of the art gymnasium with a wide range of specialised equipment for different types of rehabilitations. The wet area includes a hydrotherapy pool, and other new wet therapies.

Women’s Wellness Center
The Women’s Wellness Center at Bellevue Medical Center offers our patients specialised and individualised healthcare services in a serene and private quarter surrounded by nature.

The Women’s Wellness Center at BMC is a large building divided internally to sub departments where patients can find a wide range of personalised services, including:

Behavioral Health Center
The Behavioral health facility at the Bellevue Medical Center is unique in Lebanon. It offers a specialised psychiatric care service within a purposely designed, peaceful and home-like atmosphere. Patient bedrooms are comfortable and warm, and at the same time, the highest international safety standards are respected.

The behavioural health program proposes several lines of services for both in and out patients. It concerns patients suffering from a variety of emotional, cognitive and behavioural disorders, including, mood and anxiety disorders, substance addiction, eating disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, and other specific conditions.

In addition, the behavioural health department at BMC is the only facility in the region offering a myriad of services for the patients such as a music room, social board room, arts and crafts room, a quiet lounge, a multi-purpose relaxation room, a therapy room, a kitchenette.

Emergency Unit
One of the most elaborate emergency centres in the country, the ER at Bellevue Medical Center consists of 13 beds, and is directly connected to the radiology department and to the minor and major operating theatres.
